Denielle Gallagher is an accomplished international dressage rider and trainer representing Canada, bringing a wealth of high-performance experience to her work with horses and riders. Based at Brilliance Stables, she specializes in developing competitive partnerships through a thoughtful, education-focused approach rooted in clarity and understanding.

Denielle has competed successfully at the FEI level, earning multiple wins in 3★ and 4★ competitions in Ocala, and has been ranked among the Top 100 riders in the FEI World Rankings. Her career highlights include being short-listed for the Beijing and Paris Olympic Games, as well as representing Canada on multiple Nations Cup teams, reflecting her consistency and presence on the international stage.

In addition to her competition career, Denielle has played a significant leadership role in the sport, serving as Chef d’Équipe for NAYC teams for several years, mentoring young riders through championship competition. She has also been recognized with the Volunteer of the Year Award from Equestrian Canada, underscoring her dedication to the broader equestrian community.

Her training philosophy centers on helping riders understand the “why” and “how” behind their riding. Through clear, detailed explanation, she teaches the mechanics of both horse and rider, allowing for more effective communication, improved balance, and a more harmonious partnership. Denielle works with a range of horses, including Warmbloods and Iberian breeds, adapting her system to suit each horse’s individual needs and way of going.
