Dr. David Dresner, DC, is a Chiropractic Physician and Certified Acupuncturist with more than 30 years of private practice in Wellington, Florida. He is widely recognized in the equestrian community as a trusted provider for Olympians and world-class riders across Dressage, Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation, and Polo. His work is known for blending clinical precision, injury prevention, and a deep understanding of the physical demands of elite equestrian sport.
Originally from New York, Dr. Dresner earned his Bachelorā€™s Degree in Physical Education from Ithaca College in 1988, where he was a four-year member of the Ithaca College football team and a Division III National Champion, winning the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl. His background as a competitive athlete continues to inform his approach to biomechanics, rehabilitation, and performance optimization.
Dr. Dresner graduated cum laude from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1994, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. He expanded his clinical expertise with a certification in Physical Therapeutics through the National College of Chiropractic and a certification in Acupuncture through Texas Chiropractic College, allowing him to deliver a highly integrated, whole-body approach to care.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Dresner served on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Acupuncture Test Committees in 2008 and 2009, contributing to the development, review, and selection of examination materials used to assess proficiency in chiropractic acupuncture practice nationwide.
Dr. Dresner has acted as an advisor to towns, cities, and private companies on back safety, injury prevention, and workplace ergonomics, and has lectured to thousands on proper biomechanics and spinal health. He has also served as a consultant to insurance companies, providing expert insight on patient care and treatment protocols, and as an expert adviser and witness in legal proceedings, offering authoritative, evidence-based testimony.
