Katja Creswick
FEI Dressage Rider • Trainer • Instructor
Katja Creswick is an FEI dressage rider, trainer, and instructor based in Wellington, Florida, known for her ability to develop horses and riders through every level of training and competition. She has progressed through the dressage levels on horses she has developed herself, earning her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals and is currently working toward her Gold Medal, reflecting her patience, precision, and commitment to correct fundamentals.
Katja’s foundation in the sport was built from the ground up. From working student and young horse starter to barn manager, groom, braider, and stall cleaner, she gained hands-on experience in every aspect of horse care and training. This immersive background informs her holistic approach, emphasizing classical dressage principles, ethical horsemanship, and long-term soundness for both horse and rider.
Rooted in classical dressage and positive reinforcement, Katja’s training focuses on developing willing, athletic horses and confident, balanced riders. While dressage is her core discipline, she brings a versatile perspective, working extensively with ponies, hunter/jumper, and equitation riders, and incorporates jumping to enhance rideability, connection, and confidence. She specializes in helping nervous or rebuilding riders find security in the saddle while supporting competitive athletes in refining their performance for the show ring.
At Show Chic, Katja brings elite-level dressage education to riders of all ages and disciplines. She is passionate about helping students understand the why behind correct training, achieve sustainable progress, and experience joy and harmony in their riding.
